Delete account

You can delete your umadum account and all associated data yourself, at any time — no need to contact us first.

In the app (recommended)

Open the app and sign in
Tap the profile icon in the top right
Open Data & privacy
Choose Delete account and confirm

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. The same path works in the web app: umadum.app/app.

Without the app

Email us from your account's address at zutoruffy@gmail.com with the subject "Delete account". We will delete the account within 30 days — usually much sooner — and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Your account and email address
Your display name
Your favourites
Your event suggestions and change requests
Your notifications
Your device tokens for push notifications
Your unpublished event drafts

What remains

Events you created that are already published stay in the calendar, but lose any link to you. They describe a public event, not you. There is no further retention period; backups are overwritten within the usual rotation cycle of at most 30 days.

Review your data first

Before deleting, you can download a complete copy of everything stored for your account: in the app under Account → Data & privacy → Export my data (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR).
