How your events get onto the map

The list you keep anyway. If a column is called “Event name”, it becomes our name field — if it is called something else, we suggest a match and you decide.

Check the columns
“Event name”, “When”, “Where”: known headings are matched right away, similar ones are suggested, and for “Column 3” we look at the values. Every mapping can be changed.
Edit together
All events in one table: change them one by one — or tick several and set organizer, place, category, time or year in one go. The assistant looks up addresses on the map.
Send
A short review by our moderators — usually one or two days — and your dates are on the map. You can check the state any time with your receipt link.

Questions
The important things first
Do we need an account?
No. An upload only needs your club’s name and an email address for questions. You only need an account in the app if you want to edit events yourself later — we can set up the “power user” role for you.
What happens to our file?
It stays on your device. The assistant reads and parses it in the browser; only the finished list of events — the one you reviewed and approved — is sent to us. Of your contact details we store only what is needed for questions, and delete it after two years.
How quickly do events appear?
Every event goes through a short human review, usually within one or two days. That is not red tape: it is the reason there is hardly any nonsense on the map.
And if a date is cancelled?
With a connection it is enough to delete the date in your calendar. After an upload, drop us a line — or we set up an account so you can edit your own events.
What does an event need at minimum?
A name, a date and a place we can find on the map. Everything else — time, description, link, category — helps but is optional: if the category is missing, the assistant suggests one.
Why will this cost money later?
Because running it costs money and we do not want to sell ads. Anyone looking for events never pays. Anyone publishing dates regularly saves working time with the import — charging a small amount for that seems more honest to us than a map full of sponsored entries.
